The Last Full Measure is an absolute masterpiece.

It’s not an average war film. Todd Robinson (writer/director) successfully wrote a war story that jumps from the late ‘90s back to 1966 (during the Battle of Xa Cam My).

The acting performances were awe-inspiring. Sebastian Stan threw himself into this role as he always does; Stan is a brilliant actor. I love his portrayal of Bucky Barnes, Jefferson (The Mad Hatter), various others, & now, Scott Huffman.

I believe that this was one of Samuel L. Jackson’s best performances as well. I was crying in my popcorn during the powerful/emotional scenes. TLFM is one of the absolute best films I’ve watched.

I’m a huge history buff, but I’d never heard of Pitsenbarger (or Abilene) until TLFM was announced. W.H. Pitsenbarger showed true valor in his final moments. The message of this film, I believe, is to remember Pitsenbarger’s heroism/story as well as to honor our soldiers who’ve risked/sacrificed their lives for our freedom.

I was able to watch TLFM in theatres. I had the honor to meet a veteran who served during the Vietnam War before the film began. He was thoroughly excited to watch this film as I was. I shook this hero’s hand & thanked him for his service; it was truly an honor to stand in this individual’s presence.

I recommend every individual to watch this film. It honors not only Vietnam vets, but all of our courageous soldiers.

Thank you to Todd Robinson, Sebastian Stan, Samuel L. Jackson, the rest of the cast, & crew for all being involved in the creation of this film.

Thank you to all of our soldiers that have risked their lives to protect what America stands for!
