The series name seizes your curiosity. This television series aired on Amazon Prime (in August 2019). It’s completely original; CR is not based off of a book & it’s not a spin-off/sequel/prequel. Being a fresh storyline is what caught my attention.

Cara Delevingne (Vignette Stonemoss), Orlando Bloom (Rycroft Philostrate), Tamzin Merchant (Imogen), David Gyasi (Agreus), Karla Crome (Tourmaline), Arty Froushan (Jonah), Caroline Ford (Sophie Longerbane), Indira Varma (Piety), & so many more star in this fresh/epic television show.

Mythical creatures & humans co-existing in a Victorian world fighting their own demons while a murderous unknown creature runs amok (in the Burgue). It has an unearthly/macabre theme; it will remind you of Harry Potter mixed with Narnia, but more gruesome/gory. It’s unpredictable and the actors/actresses performances are superb. The score (composed by Nathan Barr) is beautiful; I listen to it while I work.

It’s one of the best television shows I’ve watched. I recommend it, but it’s definitely not something for kids to watch.

I’ve rewatched it once or twice & I can’t wait for Season 2 to release on Amazon Prime!
