I only enjoy a handful of films that revolve around romance (whether it’s a comedy/drama/etc). I gave Endings, Beginnings a shot because I’m a Sebastian Stan fan; I absolutely enjoy every one of his films! I’ve watched Shailene Woodley throughout the years as well.
I’m glad I gave EB (directed by Drake Doremus) a chance. It’s not the predictable romantic drama; it’s raw/authentic. It’s realistic.
EB is definitely not a family-oriented film; it’s unrated (sex scenes/use of an illicit drug/etc).
Shailene Woodley’s along with Sebastian Stan’s & Jamie Dornan’s acting performances were superb. The cast/crew (as a whole) were amazing!
I wish there’d been more story; it’s the only negative I see.
I think EB shows the audience that (positive/negative) life experiences & relationships don’t always last forever. Life is chaotic & ever-changing yet simple. Each of us need to remember that “everything might not be okay, but that’s okay. You’re exactly where you need to be. You are loved.” (Quote from EB).
I’m continuing my new rule of “spoiler-free” film reviews so if you want to watch Endings, Beginnings you’ll have to buy/watch it on iTunes, Vudu, Fandango, Amazon Prime, or Google Play!
