Dexter Morgan vs. Joe Goldberg

I’ve seen a few posts/tweets/comments where fans are comparing the characters of Dexter Morgan on Showtime’s Dexter & Joe Goldberg on Netflix’s You.

I want to get one thing straight; murder is wrong & I don’t promote it in any form. I just watch quite a few different forensic shows (fictional and true crime).

I can’t comprehend why Dexter (a serial killer who kills other killers who’ve cheated the justice system) is being compared to Joe (an obsessive psychopath) who doesn’t have a code/kills for fun/etc. I’ve not watched You, but I’ve gathered enough information from the web to understand the basis of the show.

Michael C. Hall’s performance as Dexter is bloody brilliant; pun definitely intended!

Penn Badgley is an excellent actor as well; I’ve seen some of his other films & clips of You.

Dexter is the best fictional serial killer character and that’s the tea!
